Want to display customer reviews from Google on your Google Sites website? This guide explains how to add the Widget House Google Reviews Widget to one selected page or manually repeat the same Embed block across multiple pages.
Before you begin, make sure you've created your widget and copied the installation code from your Widget House dashboard
Step-by-step guide to getting your Widget House widget code
Choose How You Want to Display the Widget
Add the widget to a single page
Log in to your Google account and open the Google Sites website where you want to install the Google Reviews Widget.
Open your Widget House dashboard and copy the complete installation code generated for your Google Reviews Widget.
The installation code contains a loading <script> and a <div> container with your unique widget ID. Keep both parts together and in the original order.
This guide is specifically for the static Google Reviews Widget. The widget will remain inside the Google Sites Embed block where you place it.
You do not need to create or add a separate iframe manually. Paste the standard Widget House installation code using the Embed code option.
Step 1: Open Google Sites and Copy the Widget Code
Open the Pages tab in the right-hand panel.
Select the page where you want the Google Reviews Widget to appear.
Scroll to the exact section where visitors should see the reviews.
The Google Reviews Widget is static, which means it appears exactly where its Embed block is placed on the page.
For example, you can place the widget below a service description, above a contact form, before a call-to-action, or near the bottom of the page.
Choose a wide page section so the Google Reviews carousel, slider, or grid has enough horizontal space.
Step 2: Open the Page and Choose the Widget Position
Open the Insert tab in the right-hand panel.
Click Embed.
In the Embed dialog, select the Embed code tab rather than the URL option.
Do not use a regular text box or another element that would display the installation code as visible text.
Step 3: Add an Embed Block
Paste the complete Google Reviews Widget installation code from your Widget House dashboard into the Embed code field.
Keep the loading <script> and the Google Reviews <div> container together and in the original order.
Do not remove, split, rename, or change any part of the installation code.
Do not wrap the code in additional <pre>, <code>, or <iframe> tags.
Click Next, review the embed preview, and then click Insert.
The code shown in the screenshots is an example. Always use the installation code generated for your own widget so the correct reviews, settings, and design are displayed.
Step 4: Paste the Google Reviews Widget Code
Select the new Embed block on the page.
Drag its borders to adjust the width and height until the complete Google Reviews Widget fits inside the block.
A wide or full-width block is usually the best choice for a reviews carousel, slider, or grid.
Make the block tall enough to display all visible review cards without cutting off content or showing unnecessary internal scroll bars.
Use Google Sites Preview to check how the widget looks on desktop, tablet, and mobile screen sizes.
If you change the widget layout, number of reviews, or design later in Widget House, return to Google Sites and check the Embed block size again.
Step 5: Resize and Position the Widget
Click Publish in the upper-right corner of Google Sites.
Review the publishing settings and confirm the publication.
Open the published page in a new browser tab and make sure the Google Reviews Widget appears in the selected position.
Check the live page on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Make sure the reviews are fully visible and do not overlap text, images, buttons, forms, or other page content.
If the widget is cut off or shows an internal scroll bar, return to the editor, increase the Embed block's height or width, and publish the site again.
If the widget does not appear, reopen the Embed block and confirm that both the <script> and <div> were saved.
You may also need to refresh the published page, open it in a private browser window, or republish the site.
Step 6: Publish and Check the Widget

Add the Widget to Multiple Pages
Important: Google Sites does not provide a site-wide custom Embed block that can be added to every page at once.
To display the static Google Reviews Widget across your website, add the same Embed block separately to every page where you want the reviews to appear.
Open the Pages tab and select the first page.
Choose a consistent position for the widget. A wide section near the bottom of the page is usually suitable.
Use approximately the same position on every page so the reviews appear consistently throughout the website.
Step 1: Open the First Page in Google Sites
Open the Insert tab and click Embed.
Select Embed code.
Use the Embed code option rather than a text box or the URL tab.
Add the Embed block to a wide page section that provides enough space for your selected Google Reviews layout.
Step 2: Add an Embed Block to the Page
Paste the complete Google Reviews Widget installation code into the Embed code field.
Keep the loading <script> and the Google Reviews <div> container together and in the original order.
Do not edit the script URL, widget ID, container ID, or any other part of the code.
Click Next, review the embed preview, and then click Insert.
Resize the Embed block until the complete widget is visible without unnecessary internal scroll bars.
The code shown in the screenshots is an example. Use the installation code generated for your own widget before publishing the site.
Step 3: Paste and Insert the Widget Code
Open the next page from the Pages panel.
Add another Embed block and paste the same complete Widget House installation code into it.
Place and resize the Embed block consistently so the widget appears in a similar position and size across the website.
Repeat the process for every page where you want to display the Google Reviews Widget.
If you create new pages later, remember to add the Embed block and installation code to those pages as well.
Do not add two copies of the same widget to one page unless you intentionally want it displayed more than once.
Step 4: Repeat the Installation on Every Required Page
After adding the widget to all required pages, click Publish.
Open several published pages, such as the home page, contact page, service page, and another internal page.
The Google Reviews Widget should appear on every page where you added the Embed block.
Check the widget on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Make sure the reviews are fully visible and do not overlap text, navigation, buttons, forms, or other page content.
If the widget is missing from a page, return to that page in the editor and confirm that it contains the Embed block and the complete installation code.
If the widget is cut off on one page but works correctly on another, compare the width and height of the Embed blocks on those pages.
If the widget appears twice, check whether two Embed blocks containing the same installation code were added to that page.
Step 5: Publish and Check the Widget Across Your Pages
All set. Your Google Reviews Widget should now be working on your Google Sites website.
