Want to display customer reviews from Google on your GoDaddy website? This guide explains how to add the Widget House Google Reviews Widget to one selected page or manually place it on every page where you want the reviews to appear.
Before you begin, make sure you've created your widget and copied the installation code from your Widget House dashboard
Step-by-step guide to getting your Widget House widget code
Choose How You Want to Display the Widget
Add the widget to a single page
Log in to your GoDaddy account and open the website where you want to install the Google Reviews Widget.
Go to your GoDaddy product page, scroll to Websites + Marketing, and click Manage next to your website.
Open the website editor and navigate to the page where you want to add the widget.
Open your Widget House dashboard and copy the complete installation code generated for your Google Reviews Widget.
The installation code contains a loading <script> and a <div> container with your unique widget ID. Keep both parts together and in the original order.
Important: This guide is for websites created with GoDaddy Websites + Marketing. If your website uses WordPress hosted by GoDaddy, follow the WordPress installation guide instead.
Step 1: Open Your GoDaddy Website and Copy the Widget Code
Open the page where you want to display the Google Reviews Widget.
Scroll to the exact position where you want visitors to see the reviews.
The Google Reviews Widget is static, which means it appears inside the HTML section that contains its installation code.
For example, you can place the widget below a service description, above a contact form, before a call-to-action, or near the bottom of the page.
Choose a wide page area so the Google Reviews carousel, slider, or grid has enough horizontal space.
Step 2: Choose Where the Widget Should Appear
Click Add Section in the selected page position.
Search for HTML and add the HTML section.
Depending on your editor version, you may find it under Files & Web → HTML → Embed custom code on the page.
Make sure you add a visible HTML section rather than a text section, analytics field, or scripts-only setting.
The HTML section should appear exactly where you want the Google Reviews Widget to be displayed.
Step 3: Add an HTML Section
Paste the complete Google Reviews Widget installation code from your Widget House dashboard into the Custom Code field.
Keep the loading <script> and the Google Reviews <div> container together in the same field and in the original order.
Do not remove, split, rename, or change any part of the installation code.
Do not wrap the code in additional <pre>, <code>, or <iframe> tags.
Leave the section title empty unless you want GoDaddy to display an additional heading above the reviews.
Choose the alignment that works best for your page. Center alignment is usually a suitable starting point for a reviews section.
Leave Forced Height empty initially so GoDaddy can use automatic height.
GoDaddy note: GoDaddy displays custom HTML inside its own iframe. If the widget is cropped, shows an internal scroll bar, or does not adapt correctly on smaller screens, increase the Forced Height and test the published page again.
Your changes are saved automatically. Close the section settings when the code and layout options are ready.
The code shown in the screenshots is an example. Always use the installation code generated for your own widget so the correct reviews, settings, and design are displayed.
Step 4: Paste the Google Reviews Widget Code
Use Preview to review the page layout before publishing.
The Google Reviews Widget might not render completely inside the GoDaddy editor or preview. Always confirm the final result on the published website.
Click Publish when you are ready to make the changes visible on your live website.
Open the published page in a new browser tab and make sure the widget appears in the selected position.
Check the page on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Make sure the reviews are fully visible and do not overlap text, buttons, forms, or other page content.
If the widget is cut off, return to the HTML section and increase its Forced Height. Then publish the website again.
If the widget does not appear, reopen the HTML section and confirm that both the <script> and <div> were saved.
You may also need to refresh the live page, open it in a private browser window, or clear your browser cache.
Step 5: Preview, Publish, and Check the Widget

Important: GoDaddy Websites + Marketing does not provide a site-wide Custom HTML section that can be added to every page at once.
To display the static Google Reviews Widget across your website, add the same HTML section separately to every page where you want it to appear.
Open the first page in the GoDaddy website editor and scroll to the position where the reviews should be displayed.
A position near the bottom of the page and above the final call-to-action or footer is usually suitable for consistent placement.
Choose approximately the same position on every page so the reviews appear consistently throughout the website.
Step 1: Open the First Page in the GoDaddy Editor
Click Add Section in the selected page position.
Search for HTML and add the HTML section.
If your editor displays section categories, open the category that contains HTML or web content and select Embed custom code on the page.
Use a wide page area so the Google Reviews Widget has enough room on desktop and mobile screens.
Do not use a text section or scripts-only field, because the static widget needs a visible container inside the page layout.
Step 2: Add an HTML Section to the Page
Paste the complete Google Reviews Widget installation code into the section's Custom Code field.
Keep the loading <script> and the Google Reviews <div> container together and in the original order.
Do not edit the script URL, widget ID, container ID, or any other part of the code.
Use the same title, alignment, accent color, and height settings that you plan to use on the other pages.
Leave Forced Height empty initially. If the live widget is cropped or displays an internal scroll bar, specify a larger height and use the same value on pages with a similar content width.
Remember that GoDaddy places the custom HTML inside its own iframe, so always check the widget on the published page and on multiple screen sizes.
The code shown in the screenshots is an example. Use the installation code generated for your own widget before publishing the website.
Step 3: Paste and Configure the Widget Code
Open the next page using the page navigation in the GoDaddy website editor.
Add another HTML section and paste the same complete Widget House installation code into it.
Place the section in the same relative position wherever possible so the reviews appear consistently throughout the website.
Repeat the process for every standard website page where you want to display the Google Reviews Widget.
If you create new pages later, remember to add the HTML section and installation code to those pages as well.
Some automatically generated store, checkout, customer account, appointment, or system pages might not support regular HTML sections. If a page does not provide Add Section → HTML, custom widget placement might not be available on that page.
Step 4: Repeat the Installation on Every Required Page
After adding the widget to all required pages, click Publish.
Open several live pages, such as the home page, contact page, product or service page, and another internal page.
The Google Reviews Widget should appear in the selected position on every page where you added the HTML section.
Check the widget on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. Make sure it is fully visible and does not overlap navigation, forms, buttons, or other page content.
If the widget is missing from a page, return to that page in the editor and confirm that it contains the HTML section and the complete installation code.
If the widget appears twice, check whether two HTML sections containing the same code were added to that page and remove the duplicate.
If the widget is cut off on one page but works on another, compare the section width and Forced Height settings on those pages.
Always verify the result on the published website because custom code can display differently inside the GoDaddy editor or preview.
Step 5: Publish and Check the Widget Across Your Website
All set. Your Google Reviews Widget should now be working on your GoDaddy website.
